Bee Generous Builds School Cafeteria as 2021 Project

In rural areas of Uganda, children are fortunate to be provided lunch from the school. Many times this is their only meal of the day, and most often they are fed outdoors and while sitting on the ground. Tables and chairs are usually only available inside the classrooms. Bee Generous is excited to share that we are funding a cafeteria for the Father to the Fatherless school in Uganda. It is our hope that students of all ages will have more opportunity to receive an education, and lunch in an atmosphere that will nourish a young body and mind. This facility will also double as a recreational room where the children can gather for games and activities.

One of the reasons Jace has chosen to support Father to the Fatherless International, is they explain their mission statement as “a charitable and religious organization with the purpose of reaching out to the street children, orphans, single mothers, and widows of the world through education, nutrition, boarding, and fostering.” As Jace works to fulfill his mission of providing educational opportunities, he recognizes that it is equally important to ensure that the children are able to focus on their school work, rather than a hungry stomach.

The work on this new building has begun quickly and will have the additional benefit of uplifting the community through job creation. Mathias Mulumba, founder of F2F, is currently in Uganda and overseeing the foundation excavation. We are hopeful that the building will be completed by early summer.
